Session Summary:

This course presents a testing and reporting framework that can be used to provide repeatable test results and documentation to support product release cycles and defect tracing.

Description:

Accessibility testing is frequently organized in to a checklist with a series of standards to that must be met. This approach considers the object or feature to be tested then provides a repeatable method for testing the compliance of that object or feature. Tests for a given interface can be selected based upon which features or objects are on a page, and can be extended to cover complex widgets that include multiple controls and features. Tests are written in a manner that they are easily portable to application development management platforms like ALM or Jira. In the three hour version of the class the reporting methodology and template presented and demonstrated and tools for executing the tests are demonstrated. In the workshop version of the course time is provided for hands on work with the tools and reporting template.
