Session Summary:

This session will focus on understanding what makes Microsoft Excel (2016) data tables and charts accessible, and will include demonstrations of assistive technologies with Excel. Making Excel documents accessible ultimately improves usability for everyone, making them easier to read, access information quickly, and manage over time.

Description:

People who are blind or have low vision can understand your data more easily if you create your Excel workbooks and charts with accessibility in mind. This session will include hands-on exercises and cover basic concepts to creating or fixing an Excel file including keyboard only navigation, screen magnification, use of color, fonts and spacing, ensuring a file is readable by screen readers, and reducing cognitive load.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
