World Tour of Accessibility Policy and Standards
taught by: Mary Jo Mueller
Description:
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) has been ratified by over 170 countries throughout the world. This treaty was developed to promote, protect and ensure the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights by persons with disabilities. As a result, there is an increased worldwide focus on the development of disability-related policies and regulations, including the accessibility of information and technology.
