Come learn about the new features in HTML5 that support accessibility. We will use the new semantic elements and ARIA landmarks in HTML5 to update a simple newsletter for better accessibility. We will also look at the new form elements that improve usability and accessibility. There will be code and demos!
Practical Skills:
- Know how to use the new HTML semantic elements
- Understand ARIA landmarks
- Aware of new HTML form controls and where/how they work
Prerequisites:
- Familiarity with basic HTML
- Interest in learning HTML5 and ARIA
- Not afraid of coding HTML
