Sumner Davenport
Sumner specializes in Web Accessibility for WordPress. Through her long-standing organization, she and her team build, maintain, evaluate and remediate WordPress websites to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards, some of which have been referred to her by attorneys. Her passion is to educate web designers and business owners on the value of accessible websites.
She is active in accessibility and legal conferences and educational venues, including WordCamp and local WordPress groups where she regularly speaks on topics related to compliance issues for WordPress websites.
She is a member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) and selected legal and industry specific associations. She is owned by a rescue dog named Tigger and his rescue cat, Merlin.
