Hope Turner
Currently as a Senior UX Design Researcher at IBM, Hope Turner leads her team’s User Experience Program, collaborating with customers, partners, and employees. She leverages IBM Design Thinking to understand, document, and socialize – the good, bad, and ugly – of the user experience. She is an Accessibility Focal for her product, IBM CloudPak for Automation, auditing for accessibility and making recommendations for improvement across the platform of products.
Hope preaches the gospel of accessibility and collaborates with the IBM Accessibility Team–lecturing at AccessU and CSUN conferences. She also teaches user interface design, as an adjunct instructor, at Austin Community College.
With over 20 years of experience as a UX designer and researcher, Hope has worked with companies and organizations like Fannie Mae, John Deere Health, State Street, Paypal, AT&T, The Coca-Cola Company, WebMD, The Grammys, Georgia Institute of Technology, Dell, UPS, Sega, NFL, NHL, SuperBowl, PGA Tour, US Open, Washington Mutual, John Hancock, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), KMPG, McCann Erickson, and Turner Classic Movies.
