Cliff Tyllick
Cliff Tyllick tries to be a spark plug for accessibility—that is, to come up with the tools other people need so they can implement accessibility more easily. If you use Microsoft Word, ask him to help you add one of his customized tabs to your personal settings. Each of them is a collection of commands already available in Word that make it easier to create accessible Word documents and, from them, accessible PDFs.
Cliff has also dabbled in Drupal accessibility, and has made noises about getting active again as one of the organizers of the Drupal Accessibility group.
When Cliff isn’t working on electronic accessibility, he serves as the roadie for his wife, Karen, who plays bass for the St. Edward’s Community Orchestra. You might also find him leading projects in Austin’s parks and greenbelts, where his dogs Buddy and Daisy Mae supervise as volunteers eradicate invasive plants.
