Mark Boyden

System Administrator

Two experiences in early AIR events and serendipitous timing brings Mark’s love of technology wrangling to Knowbility.

Mark’s eclectic set of technical capabilities is the culmination of a lifelong attempt to balance his dichotomous but innate draw to experience deeply both the application of ever-advancing technology and all the natural world has to offer.

An early obsession with computers enhanced by scouting and solid mentorship led through college and onward into a life of learning and applying practical real-world experience in businesses of all sizes, including programming and software development, network and systems administration, managing projects, systems security, disaster prevention and recovery, television and radio production, small business ownership, bicycle racing and officiating, photography, construction management - and throughout it all a mix of non-profit volunteerism and board service.

Outside sysadmin duties, Mark likes to play 42, read sci-fi, paddle rivers, bicycle, camp, backpack, play music, disc golf, spend time with family, learn silly walks, and fiddle with technology.
