Alicia Evans

Alicia Evans spent half a decade supporting people with developmental disabilities through several non-profits before moving into web development. There she saw very clearly the impact that digital inclusion and exclusion could have on a person’s life. When she moved into web development, she focused on how to make accessible and clean code that could be used and experienced by everyone.

Before Knowbility, Alicia worked as an Accessibility Engineer, remediating websites, building testing software, and providing trainings and documentation for development and design teams.

Alicia earned her master’s degree in Creative Writing at California State University: Long Beach. She is based in Southern California.
